Vegetable Tanned Natural Strap Tooling Bellies
Bellies feature softer, looser fibers than the top part of the hide. Because it is on the bottom of the cow, expect some field marks. Bellies are excellent for beginner leathercrafters to practice tooling because of the economical price.
Here’s an inexpensive alternative if you do small projects. These high quality bellies tool well and accept dye beautifully. Use them for creating wallets, key fobs, bookmarkers, knife sheaths, dog collars and a host for other small items.
